The 2025 Oita Prefectural High School Freshman Kendo Tournament (Kyushu Selection Preliminary) was held at the Resonac Budo Sports Center from Saturday, November 15th to Sunday, November 16th, 2025, where the women's team won their second championship in 35 years. Nana Ando and Kokoro Kage also placed in the top eight in the women's individual competition, earning them the right to compete in the Kyushu Selection Tournament to be held in Kumamoto Prefecture in February.

Nana Ando and Kokoro Shikage both placed 5th and qualified to compete in the Kyushu selection tournament.
