  Yoshiko Hirahata, a member of our school's golf club, has been selected to participate in the 2024 Japan Women's Open Golf Championship. 

  Last month, she placed 20th (-1 overall) in the final qualifying tournament for the Japan Women's Open, which had a total of over 100 professional and amateur competitors, and qualified for the main tournament. 

  The finals will be held from Thursday, September 26, 2024 to Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Otone Country Club in Ibaraki Prefecture. 

  I will do my best to advance to the finals and aim to become the low amateur (first place amateur) over the four days. I would appreciate your support.

[Main results] 

  Japan Junior Championships: 30th place with an overall score of even par. 

  Oita Prefectural High School Athletic Meet: Won with a personal best score of 66.
