Nursing Department Summer Supplementary Course (Basic Course)
2026-08-26
The Nursing Department's Basic Course held summer supplementary classes in preparation for the second semester. As a unique feature of these supplementary classes, third-year students who had completed their hospital internships in the first semester provided demonstrations of nursing techniques and technical support to second-year students (9th October) and first-year students (November) who are about to begin their hospital internships.
Students from all three grades gathered in the nursing practice room to deepen their understanding of basic nursing techniques through explanations, instruction, practice, and observation from their respective roles. In addition to practical exercises within the school, first-year students compiled reports on their practice sessions with support from third-year students and their observations of how third-year students supported second-year students. Second-year students received orientation from third-year students, who provided handover information for their respective clinical wards, in preparation for their clinical practice two weeks away.
Third-year students focused on handing over information to second-year students, preparing for national mock exams and national examinations, resulting in fulfilling supplementary lessons for all grade levels.
